Khadija has over 17 years experience of executive leadership, management, consulting and banking within a number of leading global organizations in the US and EMEA markets.
Khadija has held the CEO role at Watan Investment & Securities Co, a leading investment bank in Saudi Arabia and has closed landmark M&A and ECM transactions between 2011 and 2014. Prior to that, Khadija has worked for the National Investor (TNI), a leading regional investment bank, in the Middle East.
Khadija has worked on a number of ECM deals in KSA, the UAE and Kuwait in the oil, food, retail and education spaces. Her expertise covers a number of sectors including energy, consumer goods, food, aviation, banking, retail, education and healthcare.
Before the Middle East, Khadija has held a number of executive roles with Shell Oil in the EMEA region, American Airlines and Exelon Energy Corp. in the US, related to strategic planning, financial planning and analysis and corporate finance. In her roles with UBS and Exelon, she has worked on high profile transactions involving strategic financial advisory, equity capital markets and M&A.
Khadija holds a bachelor’s degree from ISCAE- Casablanca, an MBA from Oklahoma State University and a Masters of Science in Finance from Boston College. She is a Fulbright scholar and a Beta Sigma Gamma honor society member and has passed the CFA level II examination. Khadija holds series 7 and 66 from FINRA in the US and is an authorized investment professional by the Capital Market Authority in Saudi Arabia.
Imad has worked at Emirates NBD Capital as Head of Investment Banking for their Saudi Operations. He has completed various transactions involving advisory equity capital markets and debt capital markets in KSA and UAE.
He has also worked on various landmark transactions with Jefferies & Company and Gulf International Bank. Some of the deals include equity raising for Saudi Telecom, Halwani Brothers, Al-Tayyar Travel and various other groups in addition to transactions in the shipping sector in the US and UK.
In addition, Imad has worked on key M&A transactions such as the acquisition of Aston Martin Lagonda by Investment Dar and Aseer Holding Company acquisition of Dallah Investment Company.
Previously, Imad worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers (USA) Capital Partners as a business analyst Imad is a CPA and holds a Masters degree in Accounting from the George Washington University and Bachelors degree in Finance and Entrepreneurship from Brock University in Canada
Manish has over 13 years of experience in the financial domain and is currently leading a team of highly qualified professionals engaged in investment and financial research. The team comprises of MBAs and chartered accountants and supports in investment banking, valuation, equity research, M&A analysis and other tasks that help in critical investment decision-making.
Manish has rich exposure to capital markets in North America, Europe, Middle East and India, and has served leading financial institutions, hedge funds, private equity firms across the globe.
He has previously worked with Price Waterhouse Coopers in India and UK, to provide assurance and business advisory services to large public listed companies Manish is a qualified chartered accountant and a company secretary, and did his honors in commerce from the University of Delhi (India).
JYOTI PRASAD SARMAH
Jyoti has more than 5 years of professional experience in financial research and investment banking domain. He has worked and led teams of financial analysts on various assignments including investment banking, equity research, M&A analysis, industry/market research and various ad-hoc assignments.
He worked on various deals in the MENA region including the leverage buyout of a German satellite service provider. Reconsolidation and restructuring the debt of a major Saudi Group.
He has a strong exposure to global financial markets, including North America, Middle East and Asia, and has handled various assignments across many industries including shipping, retail, airlines, logistics, manufacturing, financial services, etc. He has previously worked with CRISIL Global Research & Analytics in India and led a team of analysts to provide various financial research and investment banking services to clients in the US and the Middles East.
Safa has over 8 years experience working in the financial hub of London. She started her career at Barclays Bank PLC, then she joined City Index - which is an affiliate of ICAP - as a Trader, then she went on to join their Risk Team as a Quantitative Analyst. Her final endeavor before moving to KSA was for the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, in their London Office (Dow Jones Indices) in the capacity of Senior Equity Research Analyst.
At Barclays, Safa has overseen the efficient transition of all their front office operations and client services excellence to a satisfactory outcome, where she has won Platinum Awards regionally. In her City debut, she proved to be an asset in the Trading floor dealing in all forms of transactions derivative-based. She then went on to utilize her studies and produced a working tool to capture behavioral finance elements which led to minimizing the firm's volatility exposure.
Her success story continued elsewhere in setting-up and co-founding the London arm of the Dow Jones Indices operational team. In her capacity as a Senior Analyst, her unfettered loyalty exceeded all expectations by her clients, which were not limited to the likes of Merrill Lynch, JP Morgan, UBS, Credit Swiss, Blackrock, all stock exchanges in the Europe, Middle East and North Africa region (EMEA).
Safa holds a Masters degree in Quantitative Finance and a bachelor's degree in Business & Management majoring in Finance from the University of Westminster in the UK. She is an Associate at the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investments (CISI, UK). She is currently an authorized person by the Capital Market Authority in KSA.
